Fee: Fees vary according to services provided. Clients may qualify for an adjusted fee based on income and family size. Pawnee services qualify for most insurance plans. No one is denied services due to inability to pay.

Services: Junction City/Geary County area services include Outpatient Mental Health Services; Community Based Services for Children; Medication Evaluation and Management Services; Evaluation Services; Community Support Services for severely and persistently mentally ill adults; and Prevention, Education, and Consultation Services. Pawnee Mental Health provides CRISIS services 24/7/365 by calling 1-800-609-2002, or walk-in care is available at the Crisis Stabilization Unit at 1558 Hayes Drive (south end) in Manhattan.

Description: Pawnee Mental Health Services is a private, not-for-profit comprehensive community mental health center that has provided mental health services in the Junction City/Geary County area for more than sixty years. Licensed psychiatrists and nurses provide medication management. Licensed psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, and marriage and family therapists provide psychotherapy; staff members holding bachelor degrees provide case management. Pawnee Mental Health Services also provides nine other counties in northeast Kansas with mental health services, which are Clay, Cloud, Jewel, Marshall, Mitchell, Pottawatomie, Republic, Riley, and Washington Counties.
