Provides safe, affordable and reliable public transportation since 1976. Riders must call 24-hours in advance to schedule their rides. The cutoff for scheduling next-day rides is 5:00 p.m. the day before. Curb-to-Curb demand response services are available for persons with mobility impairments. Fee:

• Fixed Route Service:
  • Adults - $1.00 single fare; youth ages 7-17 cost is .50 cents; children under 6 ride free
    • USD 475 students ride for free with current school ID card
  • Thirty-Day Pass - $30.00
  • Seniors (60+), those who meet ADA requirements, and low-income persons may apply for a half-fare discount card.
• K18 Connect Route
  • $1.00 fare per ride
  • Connects Junction City, Manhattan, and Ogden. Service runs about 1 hour and 15 minutes, end to end.
  • Operates Monday – Friday 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Demand Response Rides:
  • Within three miles of the city limits of Manhattan, Junction City, and Fort Riley, trips are $2.00 each way. Beyond three miles, each trip is $4.00 each way. For youth ages 0-10, this is a free service.
  • Schedule pick up 24-hours in advance.
  • Riders must be pre-qualified for this service

Fort Riley:

• aTa is only allowed on Fort Riley during the following hours for drop-off and pick-up, Monday-Friday. Transports between Junction City and Manhattan pick-up at Main PX and Irwin Hospital only - call to schedule a pick-up time.
  • 7:10 a.m. -7:40 a.m.
  • 10:10 a.m. -10:40 a.m.
  • 3:20 p.m. -3:50 p.m.
  • 6:30 p.m. -7:00 p.m
