A free reading service for people who experience difficulty with printed material. Hundreds of newspapers, magazines, and books are read each day by community volunteers via the radio, internet, and telephone. Qualifying conditions include blindness, visual impairment, MS, Parkinson's, macular degeneration, stroke, brain injury, extreme age, and other conditions. Audio Reader Network is a public service of the University of Kansas available in Kansas and Missouri. Audio Reader Network also provides a free mobile app called "Audio-Reader Network of Kansas" where listeners can hear 24/7+ content live or on-demand.
